Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue

 Blue and black and things:

Pic #1: My fav kind of pens except for my cartoonists pens, earrings from Forever 21, Barry M Nail Polish, evil eye bracelet from a car boot sale, silver ring from my mum for my 16th Birthday. Jumper underneath from zara/a charity shop. Pic #2: My Van Gogh style Doctor Who poster. Pic #3: Pale Fire by Vladamir Nabokov which is an amazing read, (all about authorship, identity and layers of truth) but also it has the most beautiful cover. And my planner. Also blue.

Feet and details:

Pic #1: Waiting in a changing room, clothes from charity shops, scarf a present and boots from Clarks. Pic #2: My Grandmas shoes when mine got wet and I had no others, hand knitted socks from my friends mum, tights from Primark. Pic #3: Fox slipper socks from a friend for Christmas. Pic #4: jumper and dress from a charity shop. Pic #5: Everything borrowed or charity shopped or something.

  1. Did you paint that poster yourself?
I like your bracelet and earrings, they're interesting.
Also, I love Nabokov, but never read Pale Fire. I read Lolita, the Defense Loujine (not sure if the english name is spelled like that), Ada and some of his short stories. I was obsessed with his books some years ago, sadly they were hard to come by for me. Now my library carries more of his books. Do you like Gombrowicz as well? If you never read him, you should give a try to his short stories.
I like the way you put colors together, especially with your shoes (and their laces!) in the last picture, as well as those on the second and the background. Cute slippers!

  2. I wish I had something more intelligent to type.
    But it is hot here.

  3. Ahaha, I'm laughing at the comment above, but seriously, where does one find orange fox slippers? They're so cute! I love the black and blue combo. Very underrated!
